- My child is really shy at school, will be find this overwhelming?
-
Of course some children are more shy than others but at SOC there is just as much joy in watching as there is in joining in, and most of the time this is how even the shyest of children start to participate and begin their comedy journey. In 18 years we have not yet had one child who would not participate and get joy from the class.
- Do you welcome children from reception age to classes out of school?
-
Absolutely yes, our ethos means that the children work in an almost family like environment where the younger kids aspire to the older children and the older children inspire and look after the younger kids.
- How many children are you allowed to teach in one group
-
We are fully insured for 30 children per adult teacher to be taught at one time. We have many wonderful trained and qualified teachers who are trained in making sure each child feels seen, heard and has fun.
- Is it true that you really let them swear?
-
While we certainly do not endorse swearing our ethos is to encourage children to think outside of the box and to be clever with expressing themselves with language.
- What do the children need to bring and wear for a workshop or club outside school?
-
The most important thing is the the children feel absolutely comfortable, they can literally wear whatever their heart desires! For a holiday club, workshop or show programme, they just need a packed lunching plenty of water.
