[The school behind the hit TV series]

...CHILDREN SHOULD BE OBSCENE AND NOT HEARD.

Our ethos

School of comedy gives children an edge, and teaches them a confidence in something otherwise only seen in adults. We run the workshops with guest comedians and members of the cast, which children find hugely inspiring. The improvisation element is run as an adult class, aspiring to the quickness of whose line is it anyway and mock the week and the honest performance of the children in ‘outnumbered’.

We constantly encourage children to raise the bar. We do not infringe upon language or subject matter, to a point, and this proves liberating every time. Children do not take advantage of the freedom we offer in our workshop environment, instead they rise to the occasion and give you the unexpected!

School of comedy also encourages Stand-up and Satire. What better way for kids to learn about politics than to rip the coalition government apart with their honest witty voices and teach us the way of the political world through their eyes. Similarly with stand-up, how refreshing to see a 5 minute set about pokemon parties and tuna steaks (Joel Ronson 12 years old Primrose Hill Club). We focus solely on raw talent and observational skills.
